About the Artists

Terry Klausman and George Reuter’s exhibition, Art & Recovery, celebrates triumph over mental illness. Both men are talented visual artists whose creative expression through their work is an essential element in their recovery, having struggled for decades with mental illness. Terry’s works in this exhibition are primarily welded steel, however he is equally gifted in drawing and makes intricate collages. George, with a master in fine arts degree, concentrates on pen and marker drawings of warrior angels.

Mr. Klausman says of his journey, “I share my story of recovery whenever asked, to help others and to honor those who helped me.” Mr. Reuter quietly summed up his philosophy, “We struggle and fight and dance and sing but the power and authority comes from God.”
